Q-Park’s Chief Financial Officer, René van de Kieft, will leave the company on 1 September 2012.

A recent Q-Park customer survey shows that 86% of the parking customers understand the social necessity for paid parking.

Q-Park achieved today a ranking position of 89 in the CSR Transparency Benchmark of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Q-Park has signed a credit facility of EUR 1.1 billion to refinance an existing loan of EUR 965 million. The credit facility is oversubscribed in syndication by EUR 250 million and is provided by an international bank syndicate of 11 European banks. The Bookrunning MLA’s are ING Bank N.V. Winner of the prestigious European Parking Association (EPA) Award for the ’best new car park’ is Stockmann Q-Park in Helsinki, Finland for its particular innovative and sustainable parking solution and unusual architectural structure. A special jury award was granted to Q-Park Lyon Perrache Archives La Confluence for its sustainable and environmental features. 

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders has appointed Mr Peter Kok to the Supervisory Board as Mr Wernink’s successor from 1 July 2011. Peter will also be joining the Audit Committee.

Q-Park has been granted the 25-year lease by Westminster City Council, leaving behind strong competition from across Europe by demonstrating its proven quality, outstanding operations, sustainable financial performance and after promising to invest GBP 10 million in an extensive refurbishment programme. Q-Park will take over operation of the car parks on 1 February 2011.

Mrs Karla Peijs has been appointed to the Supervisory Board as of 1 January. Her many years of managerial and political experience, in particular for transport issues, will help strengthen Q-Park NV’s good relationships with local and national government bodies.

Q-Park NV has recently welcomed the Stichting Pensioenfonds Grontmij as a new shareholder. By joining the ranks of Q-Park shareholders they confirm the confidence in Q-Park's positive developments and long-term vision. With this, the Stichting Pensioenfonds Grontmij emphasises Q-Park's solid financial framework and strengthens the mutual synergy of Q-Park shareholders. 

Pan-European bank consortium confirmed confidence in Q-Park by participating in Corporate Financing of EUR 965 million.

Mr Nico Klein Beernink received the ‘Honorary Membership’ certificate from Joan Font, president of the European Parking Association. This award acknowledges his extremely valuable contribution to the EPA, an international parking organisation whose present form is largely due to his enthusiasm and good ideas.

Q-Park expands in Belgium and France.
 
This makes Q-Park the second-largest provider in France and Belgium.

Q-Park AS Norway has acquired City Parking AS, Center park AS and Parkering-Compagniet Norge AS. The acquired companies were 100% subsidiaries of City Parking SA (Belgium), in itself a subsidiary of Epolia SAS (France).
