As a quality partner in the mobility chain Q-Park intends to move to a higher level by providing its car park customers with a wider range of services. This move is in line with our organization’s core values programme and our key quality fundamentals, i.e. speed, safety, convenience and hospitality.
A number of additional services are being provided in our parking facilities in order to enhance the services we offer to our customers. This will further enable the parking hosts to demonstrate our hospitality.
The parking facilities in the Q-Park portfolio are all different with regard to staffing, size, location and its specific customer group or target group.
A number of services will be provided by the parking host from the host’s lodge:

JUMP STARTER
Each staffed parking facility is equipped with a jump starter. A flat battery is annoying for our customers especially if they have to look or wait for help. In these cases Q-Park provides a service to its customers where the parking host will use a Jump Starter Unit.

THE UMBRELLA
The umbrella is a simple means of providing a service, it helps the customer to avoid the discomfort of a rainy day.

THE AED
The AED is an additional service for our customers and employees in the event of an emergency, a life-threatening situation. The AED increases victims’ chances of survival if their heart stops beating.

BABY BUGGY
The buggy is a simple means of providing a service which helps customers to transport their small children.

SHOE-POLISHER
Q-Park is offers you this free service for your convenience. Customers can use this machine to buff up their shoes.

INFORMATION MONITORS
Information monitors are installed in all staffed 5-star parking facilities. These monitors will display current information, including weather and traffic updates, financial market reports and the latest news.

ALCOHOLTESTER
Parking facilities close to entertainment districts with continuous 24-hour and weekend opening will be provided with an alcohol tester. This will allow the customer to self-check their blood alcohol level. With the use of the alcohol tester Q-Park is promoting general road safety, stimulating drivers to use alternative forms of transport if they consumed too much alcohol.

CITY MAPS
As an extra service to our customers, city maps of the immediate surroundings of the car parks will be placed in each Q-Park car park. The size of the depicted area depends on the walking distance to the most important final destinations indicated on the map, which differs for each city. Examples are theatres, museums, churches, squares and possibly certain shops. The maps will be placed at the pedestrian exits, near the car park exits.
