Parking is like gasoline: Cars use it, so motorists should pay for it.
In almost all overviews of annual costs of owning a car, parking expense is not included as it is such a low amount overall;
- Fuel expense is about 19-20%,
- Parking expense is about 0.5-0.6% (excluding residential parking expense).
