Q-Park launches two new Mobility Hubs in the heart of Copenhagen – and joins CopenPay
As part of its recently announced strategy, Q-Park is launching its first two Mobility Hubs in central Copenhagen – at Nørreport and Vesterport. These hubs allow motorists to park their car, charge it with wind power, and easily switch to a city bicycle, shared car or public transport. Everything is gathered in one place and can be booked in advance.
With this new concept, Q-Park aims to convert search traffic to destination traffic, reduce congestion and CO2 emissions in the city, while making it seamless for everyone – whether locals or tourists, motorists or cyclists – to move around the city in a smart way.

Four functions in one
The new Mobility Hubs combine four key functions: parking, charging, booking and sharing. In addition to modern parking facilities, users switch seamless between transport modes – for example, to bicycles, car sharing or public transport.
Smarter mobility – less congestion and more public space
Q-Park Mobility Hubs connect motorists and travellers with mobility partners that offer a variety of services from electric bicycles and car sharing to EV charging and public transport. Charging is available for electric vehicles – often powered by 100% wind energy.
Users can pre-book their parking space, drive directly to an available parking space, and seamlessly switch to micro- or shared mobility. It’s simple, flexible, and increases urban liveability. Those arriving by car can continue their journey using more sustainable transport, helping to reduce both congestion and carbon emissions.
The project is part of Q-Park’s broader European strategy to support more accessible, liveable urban environments.
Joining CopenPay 2025
During summer 2025, Q-Park Mobility Hubs are part of CopenPay – Wonderful Copenhagen’s initiative that turns climate-friendly behaviour into currency for tourists. Visitors arriving in an electric car who pre-book parking at a Q-Park Mobility Hub receive discounts on parking and EV charging (with wind power), as well as discounts on city bicycle rental in collaboration with Donkey Republic.
A collective effort for better mobility in the capital
“With our Mobility Hubs, we’re building a flexible and future-proof mobility infrastructure that makes it easier for both Copenhageners and visitors to choose the best transport mode,” says Alex Pedersen, Managing Director of Q-Park Denmark. “Our hubs are a vital step towards connecting multiple transport options – together, we can reduce congestion and emissions in the city.
More Q-Park Mobility Hubs are planned for major urban centres across Denmark.
