New quarterly CSR reporting

Following a request from its shareholders, from 2020 onwards, Q-Park will be reporting quarterly on three specific CSR key performance indicators (KPIs) which will enable shareholders to monitor progress on these important sustainability issues.

The new quarterly reports will include KPI data on:

  • Carbon footprint, which will be measured by two methods:

    • Extrapolate data based on the information included in the CSR Report 2019. This will apply to the entire Q-Park Group carbon footprint, including kWh consumed in all parking facilities, reported per type of structure, per parking space and the total greenhouse gas emissions in tons CO2.

    • Carbon footprint kWh consumed in a representative sample of our parking facilities in the Q-Park countries. This data will be based on the actual kWh consumption in various parking facilities and will be used as the basis for calculations to provide a more accurate picture of the CO2 footprint per quarter.

  • Employee health and safety indicators:

    • Number of incidents

    • Number of lost days due to incidents

  • EV charging stations:

    • Number of charging points

    • In the foreseeable future we seek to complete the information with number of fast charging stations

Collecting and reporting on these KPIs will enable us to increase our data maturity, qualifying (auditing) data, comparing and analysing data in the coming years.

Reports will be available approximately 6 weeks after the close of the quarter. We will report on Q1, Q2 and Q3. The figures for Q4 will be integrated in the full year CSR report.
