EPA 2015 Awards

We are pleased to announce that, at the biannual EPA Congress where awards can be won in the five categories; newly build, renovated, on-street, innovation and marketing, Q-Park won two awards. The award in the category innovation was won by Q-Park The Netherlands and a special jury award was granted to Q-Park France, Pré des Pêcheurs (Antibes).

Q-Park Open Data Platform is the Dutch government standard for parking related data exchange, supporting urban traffic flows. The platform contains comprehensive parking information, based on Q-Park technology.

The platform is a unique alliance between public and private parties, sharing parking related information which is open to the general public and free of charge. It is intended for use for in-car guidance, app developers etc.

The database contains real-time and up-to-date information on availability, opening hours, parking tariffs and the like.

Q-Park Pré des Pêcheurs in Antibes, France, is a 3-floor underground car park in dreamlike surroundings. The car park preserves its surroundings by freeing the esplanade from cars and dedicate it to pedestrians.

A beautiful panoramic elevator allows disabled people to access the ramparts. Large photographs highlight the roman shipwreck and amphora’s discovered during construction.
